FORE! A NEW RINK

The Yakima Amateur Hockey Association (YAHA) has been working tirelessly to raise the funds needed to build a new ice rink in Yakima. Our rink has always been more than just a sheet of ice, it’s a place where kids and adults alike can learn, play, and grow through hockey, skating, and community programs. As an all-volunteer organization, we’re not doing this for ourselves, we’re doing it so that the community can continue to have a rink in town for generations to come. So Join us, Monday, September 22nd for the first annual Links For Rinks golf tournament and show your support!

Full Sheet of Ice!

Having a full sheet of ice will be a game-changer for Yakima. Unlike the smaller sheet we currently have, a regulation-size rink will give players the proper space to learn, practice, and compete at the highest level. It will allow for more advanced skills development, better training opportunities, and the ability to host official games and tournaments.

Larger Location

A larger rink with expanded parking will open the door for Yakima to host more hockey tournaments and welcome bigger crowds. Not only would this create more opportunities for local players, but it would also invite more families, fans, and visitors from around the region to enjoy and support the sport. A bigger facility means more ice time, more programs, and more ways for the whole community to be part of the action.

State-of-the-art Facility

The new rink will feature state-of-the-art accommodations designed to elevate the experience for players and fans alike. Plans include stadium seating for spectators, modern locker rooms and player facilities, and even a bar and food area to make game days and community events more enjoyable. This upgraded space will truly be a place for everyone to gather, play, and celebrate the sport.
