YAHA is a local nonprofit (501c3) dedicated to keeping hockey and ice skating a part of Yakima for generations to come. Whether you’re brand new to the ice or an experienced player, we offer opportunities for all ages including kids, teens, and adults.

Since the 1960s, the Yakima Ice Rink has been home to hockey players, figure skaters, and families who just love to skate. Thousands have learned their first strides, played their first games, or spent weekends enjoying the ice here.

After nearly 60 years, it’s common to see parents and grandparents skating alongside their kids, carrying on a tradition that’s deeply rooted in our community. YAHA is committed to keeping that tradition alive, so future generations can continue to skate, play, and make memories right here in Yakima.
